OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for this remote opportunity. OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling, helping people discover projects, build a professional profile, and apply in minutes.
AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors use professional judgment to create examples, evaluate model outputs, and provide feedback that helps advanced AI systems perform more reliably.
OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Product Marketing AI Evaluation Expert to design and pressure-test simulated work environments for evaluating AI agents on realistic marketing tasks. You will create credible briefs, artifacts, tool states, and judgment calls that reveal the difference between strong professional work and responses that only appear plausible.
Scenarios may represent product marketing workflows involving CRM, product analytics, project management, web analytics, content systems, advertising, and support tools. The work is suited to someone who has personally owned launches, positioning, and enablement and can translate practical marketing judgment into clear evaluation standards.
You will design task briefs based on product marketing work you have personally performed, including the issue being tested and the decision a strong practitioner should reach. You will define the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed to make each scenario realistic.
You will create or review reference answers and evaluation criteria, then assess AI agent attempts against professional product marketing standards. The work may involve messy or conflicting data, prioritization, tradeoffs, planning, execution, quality assurance, reconciliation, triage, escalation, research, reporting, and coordinated work across multiple tools.
Product marketing scenarios may cover win/loss analysis, positioning, launch readiness, launch execution, adoption analysis, and competitive response.
You should bring hands-on product marketing experience, including ownership of launches, positioning, and enablement. Strong written reasoning is important because you will need to explain recommendations, judgments, and evaluations clearly.
You should also be comfortable diagnosing conflicting marketing information, making defensible tradeoffs, and translating real-world marketing decisions into realistic scenarios, reference answers, and evaluation criteria.
Experience building AI training environments, reinforcement learning environments, or simulated case studies is helpful. Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification is also helpful, but the core focus is your practical product marketing expertise and ability to evaluate realistic work.
Modern AI systems learn from examples prepared and reviewed by people. In this role, your product marketing experience will help shape how AI agents reason through launches, positioning, adoption, competitive response, and other consequential marketing decisions.
AI training and data-labeling work is a growing way to work in technology remotely. It can offer flexible project-based work while giving specialists a direct role in improving state-of-the-art AI systems.
Create or update your free OpenTrain profile and apply for the Product Marketing AI Evaluation Expert contract. Highlight your experience owning launches, developing positioning and enablement, working with marketing tools, and making decisions from ambiguous or conflicting information.
OpenTrain helps you manage and grow your AI training career in one place, from discovering relevant projects to building a portfolio that reflects your specialized expertise.
