The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Content Marketing AI Evaluation Expert to design and pressure-test simulated marketing work environments used to evaluate and improve AI agents. You will shape realistic tasks, artifacts, judgment calls, and quality standards based on the messy data, conflicting signals, tradeoffs, and multi-tool decisions found in real marketing programs.

This is a part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week. The listed compensation is $60 to $100 USD per hour. The role is open worldwide and requires English.

What You'll Do

You will turn hands-on content marketing experience into realistic evaluation scenarios. Each scenario should capture the issue being tested, the decision a strong practitioner should reach, and the professional standards used to judge the result.

Scenarios may cover research and discovery, editorial prioritization, content production, content quality assurance and audit, reporting, reconciliation, triage, escalation, planning, execution, and orchestration across multiple tools.

  • Design task briefs based on real content marketing experience
  • Define the documents, dashboards, personas, and tool states needed for realistic scenarios
  • Write or review reference answers for AI agent tasks
  • Create evaluation criteria that separate strong responses from plausible but incorrect ones
  • Review AI agent attempts against clear professional standards
  • Model conflicting data, tradeoffs, quality checks, and multi-tool decisions

Requirements

You should have hands-on ownership of an end-to-end content marketing editorial program and be able to explain why a marketing decision is correct. Practical familiarity with the listed marketing tools is required.

  • Hands-on ownership of an end-to-end content marketing editorial program
  • Experience with a CMS such as Contentful
  • Experience using Google Analytics 4
  • Experience using a research platform such as Semrush
  • Ability to diagnose conflicting marketing data
  • Ability to make defensible editorial prioritization decisions
  • Ability to write clear reference answers and evaluation criteria for AI agent work
  • Strong written reasoning and professional judgment

Preferred Experience

Experience translating professional judgment into structured AI evaluations is valuable. The following background is preferred but not required.

  • Building AI training environments

  • Creating simulated case studies
  • Rubric Academy or Rubric Bootcamp certification
