About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect people with projects that teach and refine AI systems by providing high-quality human judgment and annotations.

Working with OpenTrain means joining a fast-growing, remote-friendly industry where contributors help shape how modern AI behaves. Our projects range from simple, entry-level tasks to specialist evaluations that require domain expertise.

About AI training and evaluation work

AI training is the human side of building intelligent systems: people create, review, and rate examples that models learn from. Evaluation and rating tasks are especially important because they calibrate model outputs against human standards.

In this project you'll be performing evaluation work — comparing written responses to what a certified human advisor would provide and assigning a numeric rating that reflects how close the response is to that standard.

The role

We are hiring a Private Wealth Management / Finance AI specialist to produce and evaluate content for a single project. The core deliverable: 150 questions and corresponding answers, plus graded evaluations of responses compared to a certified human advisor.

Ratings use a 1–10 scale. You will judge how closely each response matches the quality, accuracy, and suitability of advice a certified financial planner would provide, and record an evaluation rating for each item.

What you'll do

This is a text-based evaluation and content-creation assignment. Tasks include creating question-and-answer pairs and assigning evaluation ratings to responses using the provided rubric.

  • Create 150 private-wealth-management questions and model answers (text).
  • Review responses and assign an evaluation rating from 1 to 10 comparing them to the standard of a certified human advisor.
  • Follow the project's rating rubric and record ratings as structured EVALUATION_RATING labels.
  • Work remotely and submit deliverables through the project’s submission workflow ().

Requirements

We require candidates with a background in the finance industry and prefer certified financial planners (CFP) or similarly credentialed advisors. The project accepts entry-level contributors who nevertheless have finance domain knowledge.

This is a contract, part-time role. The project is worldwide and remote; applicants can work from any country. Time commitment is under 20 hours per week.

  • Finance industry experience is required.
  • Preference given to certified financial planners (CFP) or equivalent credentials.
  • Entry-level applicants with relevant finance knowledge may apply.
  • World-wide remote applicants accepted; no specific language or country restrictions provided.

Compensation & logistics

This engagement is a fixed-price contract: total payment is USD 500 for the project. Employment types: contractor, part-time. The project's data type is TEXT and the label type is EVALUATION_RATING.

Labeling software is listed as OTHER; you will be provided the project's tools and rubric for recording ratings. Work must preserve confidentiality and follow any project-specific guidance provided at onboarding.

  • Payment: Fixed price of USD 500 for the assignment (no hourly rate).
  • Total items: 150 Q&A with evaluation ratings on a 1–10 scale.
  • Labeling format: EVALUATION_RATING; data type: TEXT;

Who should apply and next steps

Apply if you have finance industry experience and can reliably judge wealth-management advice against certified-advisor standards. CFPs and licensed advisors are strongly encouraged to apply; entry-level finance specialists with strong domain knowledge are also welcome.

If selected, you'll receive the project's rubric and instructions before starting. Deliver the 150 Q&A items and all evaluation ratings according to the provided format to receive payment.

  • Ideal for certified financial planners, advisors, wealth managers, or finance specialists.
  • Worldwide remote candidates accepted; part-time contractor engagement.
  • Onboarding includes rubric and submission instructions; follow them closely to ensure acceptance and payment.
