OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We connect people to meaningful, remote work that helps shape how modern AI systems behave.
OpenTrain AI is the hiring and contracting organization for this role. We hire contributors on contract to create and evaluate data that trains and improves state-of-the-art AI.
About AI Training Work
AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Contributors write, review, and rate examples that teach models how to answer, reason, and behave.
This type of work is often remote, flexible, and accessible — a way to use domain knowledge in finance to directly shape model outputs used across many applications.
100% remote and flexible: work from anywhere with an internet connection.
Great for part-time and contract work: fit tasks around other commitments.
Accessible: many projects need domain knowledge, attention to detail, or clear judgment rather than prior AI experience.
The Role
You will create 150 question-and-answer pairs focused on private wealth management and evaluate responses using a numeric 1–10 rating scale that compares model answers to the standard a certified human advisor would provide.
This is a contract, part-time position (under 20 hours/week) paid as a fixed-price project: $500 for the full deliverable. The role is open worldwide to candidates with finance industry expertise.
Deliverable: 150 Q&A pairs plus evaluation ratings for responses.
Evaluation scale: assign ratings from 1 (low) to 10 (high) reflecting parity with a certified human advisor.
What You'll Do
Produce high-quality, realistic questions and model answers covering private wealth management topics, then review and rate responses for correctness, completeness, and advice quality.
Use your finance background to judge whether a response matches the standard expected from a certified human advisor and record a 1–10 rating for each evaluated response.
Provide clear, model answers for each question reflecting best practices and sound financial reasoning.
Rate responses on a 1–10 scale comparing them to certified-advisor standards.
Maintain consistent, well-documented ratings across the full set of items.
Requirements
You must have demonstrable experience in the finance industry; expertise in private wealth management is strongly preferred.
We prefer certified financial planners (CFP) or equivalent credentials, but the role is listed as entry level so industry experience and judgment are the primary requirements.
Finance industry experience is required.
Certified Financial Planner or similar credential preferred but not strictly mandatory.
Attention to detail, clear written communication, and sound financial judgment.
Able to work up to 20 hours/week under a contract arrangement.
Compensation & Time Commitment
This project is offered as a fixed-price contract: $500 total for completion of the 150 Q&A items and associated 1–10 evaluations.
Time commitment is less than 20 hours/week; exact scheduling is flexible within the contract period.
Payment type: Fixed price ($500) for the entire project.
Open to contributors worldwide with required finance experience.
How To Apply
Create an OpenTrain account and submit your application for this role. Include a brief summary of your finance experience and any certifications (for example, CFP) you hold.
If selected you will be contracted to deliver the 150 Q&A items and the set of evaluations using the provided rating scale.
Submit your application and finance background when applying on OpenTrain.
Be prepared to demonstrate relevant finance experience or certifications.
