The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Personal Finance AI Work Product Evaluator to assess AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks used in personal finance and consumer planning. You will judge the quality of these materials against domain-specific standards and explain your decisions through structured written feedback.

This opportunity is designed for professionals with at least five years of relevant experience in personal finance or consumer planning who can combine subject-matter expertise with careful review of written, spreadsheet, and presentation-based work.

• Hourly rate: $80-$120 per hour
• Work type: Part-time contractor
• Schedule expectation: 20+ hours per week
• Work location: Worldwide and fully remote

What You'll Do

You will review a range of AI-generated personal finance and consumer planning artifacts. Your evaluations should be consistent, well reasoned, and clear enough to help identify how each output can be improved.

• Evaluate AI-generated personal finance and consumer planning artifacts against quality rubrics.
• Review documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for factual accuracy and analytical rigor.
• Assess domain quality, aesthetic issues, and presentation errors.
• Grade outputs using consistent professional judgment.
• Provide structured written feedback that explains errors and improvement opportunities.
• Communicate findings clearly and identify issues affecting usefulness or credibility.

Requirements

This role requires professional finance or consumer planning experience and strong attention to detail. You should be comfortable evaluating both the substance and presentation of work products rather than simply checking for surface-level errors.

• At least five years of relevant professional experience in personal finance or consumer planning.
• Native or professional fluency in English.
• Highly proficient use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong working knowledge of Google Slides or PowerPoint.
• Ability to assess slide presentation quality.
• Sound judgment when evaluating factual accuracy, rigor, and domain-specific quality.
• Ability to identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors and explain judgments clearly.

Preferred Background

An advanced degree, such as a master's degree or higher from a reputable institution, is a preferred qualification. The core requirement is demonstrated professional expertise in personal finance or consumer planning.
