The Work
You will use your presentation design expertise to help train AI systems to create polished, on-brand decks. You will design tasks, build reference examples, and evaluate model-generated presentations against clear visual standards.
The work includes collaborating with stakeholders as presentation tasks, templates, and evaluation systems develop. Prior AI experience is not required.
- Design presentation tasks using reference decks, brand assets, and structured content.
- Create example decks showing strong typography, layout, hierarchy, grids, and visual systems.
- Set clear criteria for polished, on-brand presentation design across different tasks.
- Build visual rubrics for judging model outputs, including craft, style consistency, and template adherence.
- Identify issues such as misaligned grids, inconsistent hierarchy, and off-brand elements.
- Explain visual feedback and design reasoning clearly in writing and conversation.
- Help improve presentation tasks, templates, and evaluation systems over time.
What It Pays And Takes
This is remote, part-time contract work for people based in NAMER or Europe. Work is conducted in English, and the role requires at least 20 hours per week.
- Pay: $20-$60 per hour, with a listed rate of up to $60 per hour.
- Workload: 20+ hours per week.
- Location: Remote for contributors based in NAMER or Europe.
- Language: English fluency required for written and verbal feedback.
- Experience: 3-5 years as an agency, in-house corporate communications or brand, or independent deck and presentation designer.
- Skills: Advanced typography, layout, color, iconography, grid systems, and visual template design.
- Tools: Expert PowerPoint and/or Keynote skills, plus strong familiarity with Figma or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Helpful background: Evaluation rubric writing, AI training, large-scale template redesigns, brand guideline systems, or data-rich presentations.
