Paralegal AI Evaluation Subject Matter Expert

You will evaluate AI-generated legal support responses and help improve how clearly and reliably legal models handle practical work. You will also create expert paralegal materials that show what accurate, useful legal support should look like.

• Review AI-generated legal responses for accuracy, completeness, clarity, and adherence to the prompt.
• Find errors in legal terms, procedural steps, document structure, issue spotting, citations, and authority handling.
• Create prompts, document templates, checklists, research summaries, and drafting examples.
• Rate and compare AI responses for correctness, reasoning quality, formatting, and procedural usefulness.
• Test outputs for misleading certainty, confidentiality risks, and bias across legal support use cases.

What It Pays and Takes

This is a part-time contractor role for people with professional paralegal or legal assistant experience. The work requires strong legal research skills, careful review, and the ability to work remotely across time zones.

• Pay: $20-$50 per hour.
• Time: 20 or more hours per week.

• Language: C1 English proficiency.
• Education: An associate's or bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, Legal Studies, or a related field; paralegal certification is a plus.
• Experience: Four or more years as a paralegal or legal assistant.
• Core skills: Legal support workflows, intake, fact gathering, drafting, version control, matter organization, and legal research.
• Research experience: Ability to summarize cases, statutes, and regulations.
• Legal background: Familiarity with litigation processes or transactional workflows, depending on your area.
• Work habits: Strong attention to detail, confidentiality awareness, and comfort with remote contractor workflows across time zones.
• Helpful experience: AI data training, document quality assurance, legal operations, editorial review, e-discovery, contracts, court filings, or litigation support.
