Required Skills
This role requires native-level Odia ability and the discipline to apply a document taxonomy consistently across hundreds of pages. You should be comfortable working with both familiar and unfamiliar layouts, including dense newspapers, exam papers, and handwritten forms.
- Native Odia fluency with full command of the script, diacritics, and conjunct forms.
- Experience in document annotation, transcription, translation, localization, subtitling, proofreading, journalism, or regional-language data review.
- Exact and systematic attention to detail.
- Ability to apply a taxonomy consistently across hundreds of pages.
- Comfort working with multi-column newspapers, exam papers, and handwritten forms.
Who Should Apply
This opportunity may suit Odia language specialists, regional-language reviewers, proofreaders, journalists, transcriptionists, translators, and document annotation contributors who can work carefully with complex PDF layouts.
