The Role
OpenTrain is recruiting a Nuclear Physics AI Training Expert to support AI evaluation focused on nuclear physics. You will use AI-generated responses and reference answers to assess scientific quality and produce clear, technically sound feedback.
Prior AI training experience is not required unless stated elsewhere on the job page. The most important qualification is strong real-world knowledge of nuclear physics and the ability to communicate that knowledge precisely in written English.

What You’ll Do
You will create and evaluate nuclear physics content across a broad range of topics. Your reviews should identify both obvious scientific errors and subtle problems involving assumptions, units, notation, safety, or physical reasoning.
You will also write corrections, rewrites, and model answers that demonstrate accurate nuclear physics reasoning and clear scientific explanation.

Requirements
Candidates should have degree-level or equivalent expertise in nuclear physics, nuclear engineering, radiation science, applied physics, engineering physics, or a related field. A bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is appropriate.
At least three years of relevant experience is preferred. This may include nuclear physics, physics research, radiation science, nuclear engineering, teaching, tutoring, technical writing, academic review, or related scientific work.
Strong C1 or higher English proficiency is required for detailed written feedback. You must be comfortable working independently, following detailed rubrics, and maintaining consistent quality.
