About AI Training Work

In this role, your Norwegian language expertise will directly contribute to the quality of AI-generated text and the consistency of the people who evaluate it. The work is remote and part of a growing industry shaping how advanced AI systems behave.

The Role

As a Norwegian Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated Norwegian content and trainer QA work across AI training projects. You will assess quality, provide clear written feedback, communicate changing expectations, and support the documentation and onboarding processes that keep remote contributors aligned.

The role focuses on Norwegian-language quality, including Bokmål and/or Nynorsk, while requiring strong English communication for guidelines, feedback, and team coordination.

• Review Norwegian AI-generated content and trainer QA work
• Assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, register, and meaning preservation
• Check cultural appropriateness, formatting, and instruction-following

What You’ll Do

You will combine detailed language review with practical quality leadership. Your feedback will help trainers and quality reviewers understand recurring issues and apply project standards consistently as workflows evolve.

• Identify recurring quality issues and provide ongoing written feedback to trainers and QAs
• Communicate project updates, workflow changes, and quality expectations to remote contributors
• Support onboarding and training calls
• Maintain or contribute to documentation, trackers, FAQs, style guides, and quality notes
• Help manage contributor activation and improve Norwegian-language quality processes

Requirements

This is listed as an entry-level opportunity, with relevant experience in language, education, annotation, or content quality valued. Strong Norwegian and English communication skills are essential for reviewing content, explaining standards, and coordinating with contributors.

• Native or near-native Norwegian proficiency with strong reading and writing skills
• Strong English communication skills for guidelines, feedback, and team coordination
• Experience in Norwegian writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, or annotation
• Strong understanding of Norwegian grammar, spelling conventions, tone, register, and cultural context
• Comfort working with Bokmål and/or Nynorsk
• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, reviewers, editors, or QAs is preferred
