The Role

OpenTrain AI is hiring an Electronics Simulation Reviewer to run NgSpice simulations, analyze outputs for dataset use, document methods and results, and flag anomalies. You will translate technical simulation outcomes into actionable feedback for AI model development while collaborating with a remote, multidisciplinary team.

• Work type: Contractor, part-time (20+ hours/week).

What You'll Do

• Simulate electronic circuits using NgSpice and collect simulation outputs for dataset use.
• Analyze simulation waveforms, operating points, and key metrics to assess correctness.
• Document simulation parameters, methodologies, and key findings in clear written form.
• Review results for accuracy, identify anomalies, and recommend improvements or corrections.
• Translate technical outcomes into concise feedback that supports AI model training.
• Communicate progress and discuss technical challenges with a remote, multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Basic proficiency with NgSpice and circuit simulation concepts.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit behavior.
• Clear written and verbal communication with attention to technical detail.
• Ability to document technical processes and outcomes effectively.
• Analytical problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented approach to data quality assurance.
• Comfort working independently in a remote contractor setting.
