The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Music Production AI Evaluation Expert to assess AI-generated songs, lyrics, and vocals in Slovak and English. You will use critical listening and professional audio expertise to judge musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal performance, and production or mixing quality.

What You'll Do

You will compare generated songs, classify musical characteristics, and review lyrics and vocals against reference material. Consistency and careful listening are essential when evaluating different genres, sub-genres, and musical styles.

• Compare AI-generated songs head-to-head
• Evaluate musicality, creativity, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality
• Classify songs by genre, structure, instruments, vocals, and other relevant characteristics
• Review AI-generated lyrics and vocals against reference material for quality and accuracy
• Apply detailed standards consistently across musical styles

Requirements and Helpful Background

This role requires native or near-native Slovak proficiency for evaluating music-related content, along with the ability to follow detailed written instructions in English. You must have at least two years of professional experience as a music producer, audio engineer, or mixing engineer and equipment suitable for critical listening.

Formal training in music performance, theory, or composition is helpful. Credited or commercially released production, engineering, or mixing work is also valued, as is broad familiarity with contemporary Slovak genres, sub-genres, and artists.

• Critical listening skills using suitable headphones or studio monitors
• Ability to judge musicality, prompt adherence, vocal quality, and production or mix quality

• Familiarity with contemporary Slovak genres, sub-genres, and artists is valued

Schedule and Compensation

This is a remote, flexible contract engagement. Most experts work around 20 hours per week, with no cap, and the engagement may last up to 6 months.
