The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking Arabic musicians and lyricists to evaluate generative music AI models. You will review AI-generated music across a broad range of Arabic genres, compare AI lyrics with published songs, and assess quality, creativity, prompt adherence, originality, and naturalness of language.

This is a remote contractor opportunity with an immediate start. The project may continue for up to six months, with flexible scheduling and no cap on hours. Most experts work around 20 hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will apply your knowledge of Arabic music, songwriting, and language to provide careful ratings and comparisons. Your judgments will help improve how generative AI creates and responds to Arabic musical prompts.

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify similarities
• Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality
• Evaluate whether lyrics sound natural in Arabic
• Assess word choice, slang, and regional expressions
• Critically listen to AI-generated music across Arabic genres

Requirements

This role is suited to Arabic music professionals and knowledgeable contributors who can make nuanced judgments about lyrics, language, and musical context. You must be able to follow detailed written instructions in English and have equipment appropriate for critical listening.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions in English
• Experience as a songwriter, lyricist, performer, composer, or music journalist
• Knowledge of the Arabic music scene
• Headphones or studio monitors suitable for critical listening
• Ability to compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs
• Ability to assess naturalness, creativity, and originality
