You will evaluate nanomaterial data to support nanoparticle sizing, morphology assessment, and lot-release qualification. The work centers on careful manual analysis of TEM and SEM micrographs without automated or AI-powered image-analysis tools.
- Analyze TEM and SEM micrographs for nanoparticle size, morphology, and particle size distributions.
- Calibrate images manually, apply thresholding, and validate measurements against reference data.
- Establish and communicate lot-release acceptance criteria using reference cases and quality-control standards.
- Write reports covering methods, findings, and material-qualification recommendations.
- Share technical judgments in project discussions and communicate decisions clearly to stakeholders.
What it pays and takes
This is a part-time contract role for candidates with specialized nanomaterial characterization experience. The listing is open to candidates in the countries specified for the role.
- Pay: $40 to $100 per hour.

How it works
You apply here in about two minutes and finish on the hiring platform. The next step is a short AI interview (technical roles include a coding challenge). Passing it is how you qualify for paid tasks, so take it soon after you are invited.
The hiring platform's application for this job asks for your resume, your LinkedIn profile, your phone number, your location and answers to 3 screening questions.
About AI training work
AI training is the human work behind systems that learn from examples, including reviewing images and other technical data. Specialists are paid for applying careful judgment and subject knowledge that helps make those examples accurate and useful.
