The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Marathi Quality Assurance Lead to review AI-generated Marathi content and trainer or QA submissions. You will assess accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, instruction-following, formatting, and rubric adherence.

This is an intermediate-level, part-time contractor role requiring 20+ hours per week. The rate is $25 per hour. The role is available to candidates in India, Mauritius, and Pakistan, with Marathi and English used for the work.

What You'll Do

You will combine detailed Marathi language review with contributor support and quality operations. Your feedback should be precise, actionable, and grounded in project guidelines and evaluation rubrics.

• Review Marathi AI training content and trainer or QA submissions
• Evaluate accuracy, fluency, tone, spelling, grammar, formatting, and meaning preservation
• Identify mistranslation, literal phrasing, unnatural tone, hallucinated claims, ambiguity, and inconsistent terminology
• Provide clear written feedback to trainers and QAs
• Communicate project updates and quality expectations to contributors
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, quality notes, examples, and onboarding materials
• Support onboarding and training calls for contributors
• Identify recurring issues and propose workflow improvements for Marathi-language QA

Requirements

Applicants should have native or near-native Marathi reading and writing ability, strong English communication skills, and deep knowledge of Marathi language use. Relevant experience may come from writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language-review workflows.

• Native or near-native Marathi proficiency with strong reading and writing skills
• Strong English communication for written feedback and team coordination
• Deep understanding of Marathi grammar, spelling conventions, punctuation, tone, register, regional variation, and cultural context
• Ability to evaluate content against detailed rubrics
• Ability to provide clear, precise written feedback
• Familiarity with remote collaboration tools such as Discord, Google Sheets, and Google Docs

• Experience leading or supporting remote teams of trainers, reviewers, editors, annotators, or QAs
• Experience with AI training or large language models
• Experience with prompt or response evaluation
• Experience with rubric-based LLM quality assurance
