The Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking a Malayalam Music and Lyrics AI Evaluator to assess generative music AI models and review AI-generated lyrics against detailed quality standards. You will combine near-native Malayalam judgment with practical knowledge of the Malayalam music scene.

This is a remote hourly contractor opportunity paying $15 per hour. The commitment is flexible, with most experts working around 20 hours per week and no weekly cap. The engagement may last up to six months and can begin immediately.

What You'll Do

You will evaluate lyrics and related music content consistently across a broad range of Malayalam genres and contemporary styles. Reviews will consider both creative quality and how naturally the content reflects Malayalam language and culture.

• Compare AI-generated lyrics with published songs to identify meaningful similarities
• Rate lyrics for quality, creativity, prompt adherence, and originality
• Evaluate word choice, slang, regional expressions, and overall language flow
• Apply detailed quality standards across different music genres and lyric content
• Use suitable headphones or studio monitors when critical listening is required

Requirements

This entry-level opportunity requires strong Malayalam language ability and practical or professional experience in music or lyric-focused work. You must also be able to follow detailed written instructions in English.

• Native or near-native proficiency in Malayalam
