The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting a Malay Language AI Analyst focused on analytical content review and language model training. You will work with complex written content, break it into logical sections, investigate factual claims, and develop scenarios that test and improve model performance.

The role requires working ability in both Malay and English, strong English comprehension, and the ability to explain reasoning clearly. It is an entry-level contractor opportunity with flexible remote working hours, some overlap with US hours, and potential for contract extension.

What You'll Do

You will complete analytical and evaluation tasks that produce high-quality examples and feedback for language model training. Work may include reading substantial content, checking claims online, and solving puzzle-style problems that require careful reasoning.

• Analyze complex content and divide it into smaller logical blocks
• Research claims online and validate factual statements
• Create question-and-answer scenarios for large language model training
• Provide correct answers with explanations that improve model learning
• Give constructive feedback and detailed annotations
• Interpret data and apply logical reasoning and basic arithmetic

Requirements

This opportunity is suited to analytical communicators who can work independently in a remote environment. You must be able to read and summarize complex material in English and work confidently in both English and Malay.

You should be comfortable with research, factual validation, feedback, annotation, analytical puzzles, logical reasoning, and basic arithmetic. Familiarity with Excel and Google Suite is also required.
