The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting an intermediate LLM Training Data Analyst to support the fine-tuning of large language models. You will solve analytical questions, generate training scenarios, and evaluate model responses across tasks that test reasoning, data interpretation, and creative thinking.
The role is well suited to someone who can read complex material carefully, break information into logical parts, research claims, and communicate constructive feedback with precision.

What You'll Do
You will create and review text-based training data designed to help language models reason through challenging problems. This includes working with model outputs, identifying weaknesses, and documenting clear, detailed evaluations.
Answer analytical questions and create scenarios that train LLMs to reason and solve puzzles.
Read, summarize, and break down large content into logical blocks.
Conduct online research to validate claims in content.
Provide detailed feedback and annotations on model responses.
Work with LLMs to solve puzzles and generate high-quality training data.
Apply logical reasoning, data interpretation, basic arithmetic, and lateral thinking to assigned tasks.
Requirements and Helpful Background
You should have strong English reading and writing comprehension, analytical and research ability, and the confidence to provide constructive feedback and detailed annotations. You must be self-motivated, able to work independently in a remote setting, and available for at least 20 hours per week.
The following experience or education is helpful but is not presented as a required credential: a bachelor's degree or undergraduate study in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field; professional writing experience; and familiarity with content review or data annotation workflows.
