The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting an LLM Training Data Analyst to create analytical questions, scenarios, puzzles, logic questions, and explanations for large language model training. You will work with text-based content, applying strong English comprehension, research ability, and analytical reasoning to produce high-quality training data.

This is an entry-level, part-time contractor opportunity available worldwide. The expected time commitment is 20+ hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will help create and review content used to fine-tune language models. The work combines writing, analysis, online research, logical reasoning, and detailed annotation.

• Answer analytical questions and create scenarios that train LLM models
• Craft puzzles and logic questions that improve model performance
• Read, summarize, and break down large content into logical blocks
• Conduct online research to validate claims
• Provide correct answers and clear explanations to teach models
• Give constructive feedback and detailed annotations
• Collaborate with the team to improve model performance

Required Skills

Successful contributors will be comfortable working independently with written content and applying careful judgment to analytical tasks. Strong English communication and the ability to explain reasoning clearly are essential.

Helpful Background

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or a related field
• Two or more years of experience in quality assurance, data annotation, or content review
• Professional writing experience, such as business analysis, copywriting, or journalism
• Knowledge of basic arithmetic
• Understanding of Excel and Google Suite
