About OpenTrain

OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling. We help people launch and grow freelance careers teaching AI by centralizing projects, building a consistent portfolio, and making it easy to apply and get paid for annotation and feedback work.

About AI training work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building modern AI systems. Contributors create, review, and rate examples—text, documents, and annotations—that teach models to write, interpret, and act like human experts. This work is remote, flexible, often entry-friendly, and directly shapes how real AI products behave.

The role

You will create, edit, and evaluate Korean marketing documents to train and improve AI models that handle marketing tasks. The role focuses on real-world marketing scenarios—presentations, Word documents, and spreadsheets—ensuring content is clear, accurate, culturally appropriate, and on-brand.

  • Part-time contractor role: 20+ hours per week.
  • Pay: $55 per hour (pay-per-hour).
  • Work location: must be based in the United States and fluent in Korean.

What you'll do

Daily tasks blend content generation, editorial review, and structured evaluation. Your work will help build higher-quality Korean-language outputs for marketing use cases and provide feedback that improves model behavior.

  • Create marketing documents, presentations, and spreadsheets in Korean using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Generate sample marketing content based on real-world scenarios for model training (text generation).
  • Analyze and refine AI-generated content for clarity, tone, accuracy, and cultural relevance.
  • Evaluate and rate model outputs using structured rubrics (evaluation/rating tasks).
  • Provide written and verbal feedback explaining issues and recommending improvements.

Requirements

Candidates must meet all required qualifications listed below. We do not invent or assume additional criteria—these are required to perform the role effectively.

  • Native-level Korean proficiency with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional marketing experience, including hands-on creation and management of marketing documents.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills for professional documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Experience working with or for Fortune 500 companies in a marketing capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above.
  • Able to work 20+ hours/week as a contractor and be located in the United States.

Helpful background (preferred)

The following experience is not required but will help you succeed and qualify for more advanced tasks.

  • Experience in AI, data annotation, or technology-driven projects.
  • Familiarity with US-based Korean business environments and marketing practices.
  • Comfort explaining complex marketing concepts clearly to non-expert audiences.

How this work is organized

OpenTrain hires contractors for AI training projects. Tasks will be delivered through our platform and may include text-generation and evaluation/rating assignments focused on marketing documentation.

You will be paid per hour at the stated rate. Work is contract-based and part-time; hours are flexible but the role expects 20+ hours/week. All assignments must be completed according to the project's guidelines and quality standards.

  • Data type: Document-focused (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Labeling activities: Text generation and evaluation/rating.
  • Employment types: Contractor, part-time.

Who should apply

Apply if you are a US-based native Korean speaker with marketing experience who wants flexible, impactful work shaping AI for Korean-language marketing. This role suits marketers who enjoy writing, editing, and teaching models through clear feedback.

  • You value flexible remote work and want to contribute to cutting-edge AI systems.
