Quality Assurance Lead (Kannada)

As a Kannada Quality Assurance Lead, you will review AI-generated Kannada content and trainer QA submissions against project rubrics. You will check accuracy, fluency, grammar, spelling, tone, regional usage, cultural appropriateness, meaning preservation, formatting, and instruction-following.

You will give clear feedback, track recurring issues, support contributors, and help keep Kannada AI training work consistent across projects.

• Review Kannada AI-generated content and trainer QA work against detailed guidelines.
• Find mistranslations, literal wording, unnatural tone, inconsistent terminology, and other quality issues.
• Write precise, actionable feedback for trainers and QAs.
• Communicate guideline and workflow changes through remote channels.
• Maintain style guides, FAQs, trackers, examples, dashboards, and onboarding materials.
• Support onboarding and training calls for new contributors.
• Improve QA processes and escalate recurring or critical issues.
• Help activate contributors who are not working consistently.

What It Pays And Takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role for someone with expert-level language review or AI training experience.

• Pay: $30 per hour.
• Time: 20+ hours per week.
• Work setup: Remote.
• Open to candidates in India, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, the United States, and the United Arab Emirates.
• Languages: Fluent Kannada with strong reading and writing skills, plus strong English communication skills.
• Know Kannada grammar, spelling, punctuation, register, and cultural context.
• Have experience in Kannada writing, editing, translation, localization, content QA, AI training, education, annotation, or related language review work.
• Be able to evaluate content against detailed rubrics and identify mistranslation, literal phrasing, and unnatural tone.
• Experience supporting or leading remote trainers, annotators, reviewers, editors, or QAs is strongly preferred.
• Helpful tools experience includes Discord, Google Sheets, Google Docs, trackers, dashboards, and project management tools.
• Familiarity with style guides, honeypots, calibration tasks, QA documentation, LLM evaluation, or prompt and response review is helpful.
