**Job Title:** Japanese PDF Annotator & QA Reviewer

**Project Overview:**

We are hiring native Japanese speakers for a PDF annotation and transcription project. The work involves annotating various Japanese documents including technical presentations, government forms, and contracts. This is a remote position with potential for ongoing work based on performance.

**Responsibilities:**

- Draw bounding boxes around document elements (text blocks, tables, figures, headers, captions)
- Classify elements using predefined annotation categories
- Verify and correct OCR-generated text
- Create HTML-based descriptions for tables
- Ensure correct reading order and hierarchical relationships between annotated elements
- QA Reviewers: Review completed annotations for accuracy and provide feedback

**Requirements:**

- Native Japanese speaker
- Located in Japan
- Basic English proficiency (B1 level or higher) for reading platform instructions
- Strong attention to detail
- Reliable internet connection
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Available to start within 3 business days of notification

**Preferred:**

- Experience with document annotation, data labeling, or transcription
- Familiarity with technical, financial, or legal documents
- Basic HTML knowledge

**Compensation:**

- Annotators: $18/hour USD
- QA Reviewers: $20/hour USD

**Availability:**

Initial pilot phase: 2-3 hours
Production phase: Flexible hours, ongoing work available for qualified candidates
