Japanese-English-Speaking Transcription Specialist

You will handle bilingual audio and written materials for AI training. The work requires accurate transcription, careful review, and clear feedback when language or context needs correction.

• Transcribe Japanese and English audio and written materials.
• Review and edit transcripts for meaning, context, and accuracy.
• Provide practical language feedback to improve transcription quality.
• Manage multiple assignments with close attention to detail.
• Work with remote team members to maintain project quality standards.
• Communicate clearly in writing and conversation, and meet project deadlines.

What It Pays and Takes

This is an entry-level, part-time contract role for someone who can work independently and deliver careful bilingual language work.

• $65 to $98 per hour.

• Comfort using transcription tools and digital collaboration platforms.
• Strong organization, time management, and independent work skills.

Helpful Background

Prior bilingual transcription experience, familiarity with technical terms across industries, or academic or professional experience in linguistics or language studies can help when source materials use specialized vocabulary.
