The Role
OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Japanese Corporate/M&A AI Evaluation Attorney to review how effectively AI systems answer real questions of Japanese law. You will run identical prompts through two AI language-model platforms, compare their responses, and score the results using a standardized rubric.

Requirements
This role is intended for a legal professional with practical corporate, M&A, or transactional experience in Japan. You must be able to work independently, follow evaluation criteria precisely, and meet deadlines.
At least two years of law firm experience in corporate/M&A or transactional practice
Three or more years of relevant experience preferred
Qualified to practice law in Japan
Native or fluent Japanese proficiency
Precise written communication in Japanese
Experience evaluating or scoring work against a rubric
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
