IT Strategy and Systems Architecture Reviewer

The work

You will provide practical IT management judgment for AI training work. Your reviews and written input will help assess how AI systems handle real-world technology strategy, infrastructure, governance, and operational scenarios.

The work includes written assignments, structured discussions, and detailed reviews focused on IT professionals and enterprise technology decisions.

• Review IT strategy development, systems architecture planning, technology roadmaps, and infrastructure optimization scenarios.
• Assess vendor management and procurement situations, including contracts and third-party system integration.
• Provide examples and recommendations related to security compliance, risk reduction, and regulatory standards.
• Review proposed IT solutions and identify gaps or opportunities to improve architecture and implementation.
• Assess documentation, workflows, and process designs for clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency.
• Share practical guidance on technical leadership, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and professional upskilling.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor role. OpenTrain estimates about 20 hours per week for 1 to 3 months, with flexible scheduling.

The role is intended for experienced IT or systems leaders. Prior AI experience is not required.

• Pay: $60-$75 per hour.

• Experience: At least five years as an IT or Systems Manager leading technical teams or managing enterprise-scale infrastructure.
• Required expertise: IT strategy, systems architecture, technology roadmapping, vendor management, contract evaluation, and third-party solution integration.
• Knowledge required: Security compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR, along with related risk management practices.
• Other requirements: Clear written and verbal communication, strong analysis of documentation and workflows, and experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals.
