The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an IT Strategy and Systems Architecture Reviewer to provide practical IT management judgment for AI training work. You will assess how AI systems handle real-world technology strategy, infrastructure, governance, and operational scenarios.

The role involves structured discussions, written assignments, and detailed reviews. Your insights will support the development of smarter AI tools for IT professionals.

What You'll Do

You will provide insights on IT strategy development, systems architecture planning, technology roadmapping, and infrastructure optimization. You will also evaluate vendor management and procurement scenarios, including contract considerations and third-party system integration.

Your reviews will cover security compliance, risk mitigation, regulatory standards, proposed IT solutions, architecture and implementation gaps, documentation, workflows, and process designs. You will assess clarity, feasibility, and operational efficiency while sharing best practices for technical leadership and professional development.

• Assess IT strategy, systems architecture, roadmaps, and infrastructure optimization scenarios
• Review vendor management, procurement, contracts, and third-party integrations
• Provide examples and recommendations related to ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and risk management
• Identify gaps or improvement opportunities in proposed IT solutions and implementations
• Evaluate documentation, workflows, and process designs for clarity and feasibility
• Share practices for team leadership, knowledge transfer, mentoring, and upskilling
• Complete structured discussions and written assignments for AI tool development

Requirements

This role requires substantial experience managing enterprise technology environments and leading technical teams. Prior AI experience is not required, but you should be comfortable analyzing complex IT situations and communicating clear, practical recommendations.

• At least five years of experience as an IT or Systems Manager
• Experience leading technical teams or managing enterprise-scale infrastructure
• Expertise in IT strategy, systems architecture, infrastructure optimization, and technology roadmapping
• Experience with vendor management, contract evaluation, procurement, and third-party solution integration
• Knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, security compliance, and IT risk management
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to analyze documentation and workflows holistically
• Experience mentoring or coaching IT professionals
• English language proficiency
