The Role
OpenTrain is seeking an IP, trademark, and copyright law evaluator for an hourly remote engagement. You will review AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks against domain-specific quality rubrics, combining legal expertise with consistent evaluation of varied business work products.
The engagement is intended for an individual professional who can make careful legal assessments, recognize quality issues, and communicate detailed judgments in clear written English.
Pay: $80 to $120 per hour
Schedule: 20 or more hours per week

What You'll Do
You will assess AI-generated work products for accuracy, rigor, factual soundness, aesthetic quality, and presentation quality. Your feedback will support a structured AI training and quality review workflow.
Evaluate documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks against domain-specific quality rubrics
Apply intellectual property, trademark, and copyright law expertise when judging generated work
Assess factual accuracy, legal rigor, aesthetic quality, and presentation quality
Identify factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors
Grade outputs consistently against relevant standards
You should have at least five years of relevant professional experience in intellectual property, trademark, or copyright law. The role requires careful application of legal knowledge when assessing the accuracy and rigor of AI-generated work products.
Native or professional fluency in English is required so you can communicate detailed written judgments clearly. You should also be highly proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace, particularly Google Slides or PowerPoint.
Five or more years of professional experience in intellectual property, trademark, or copyright law
Ability to evaluate AI-generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for factual accuracy and legal rigor
Judgment in identifying factual, aesthetic, and presentation errors against domain-specific quality standards
Native or professional English fluency
Ability to provide clear, structured written feedback
High proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
Strong experience with Google Slides or PowerPoint
