The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a remote Immigration Attorney contractor to apply deep U.S. immigration law expertise to AI training and legal-content evaluation. You will bring the perspective of complex immigration practice in a BigLaw setting to the review of legal content, documents, scenarios, and workflows.

This is a part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20 or more hours per week. The role is worldwide and remote, with project scheduling and duration confirmed for the assignment. Compensation is $140 to $400 per hour.

What You’ll Do

You will review immigration law documents and legal scenarios for accuracy, compliance, and practical applicability. You will also draft, edit, and evaluate legal content, including memoranda, briefs, and case documentation.

The work combines legal research, content evaluation, and technology-enabled workflow assessment. You will provide clear, actionable feedback to help refine AI-generated legal outputs and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to protect the integrity and usefulness of legal data.

• Review immigration law documents and legal scenarios
• Assess accuracy, compliance, and practical applicability
• Draft, edit, and evaluate memoranda, briefs, and case documentation
• Conduct comprehensive legal research using industry-standard tools and databases
• Use case management software to simulate and assess legal workflows

Requirements

Applicants must hold an active license to practice law and demonstrate expertise in U.S. immigration law. Significant BigLaw experience handling complex immigration matters and advising clients is required.

The role requires advanced legal writing, research, and analytical skills, along with meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with case management and document review technologies is also required, as is the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated legal content.
