You will apply experience in investment banking, M&A, and financial modeling to create and review high-quality work, identify weaknesses, and explain complex financial concepts clearly.

What You'll Do
You will conduct and review investment banking analyses used in AI training. The work requires careful quantitative reasoning, strong written and verbal communication, and the ability to explain why an answer, model, or presentation is accurate or needs improvement.
- Conduct company and industry research to support data-driven AI training initiatives.
- Perform and review buyer or target screening, comparable company analysis, and financial modeling tasks.
- Build, update, and troubleshoot Excel-based valuation and transaction models.
- Check models for methodological accuracy and logical consistency.
- Prepare and edit materials similar to client presentations or pitchbooks.
- Reflect transaction execution scenarios and strategic rationale in presentation materials.
- Analyze sample materials for numerical errors, weak strategy, or unclear logic.
- Provide actionable feedback to improve analytical and presentation materials.
- Explain accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, deal sensitivities, and the impact of key assumptions.
- Answer questions and provide precise written and verbal explanations of complex financial concepts.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
This role is intended for an experienced investment banking professional with substantial exposure to M&A or industry-coverage work. Your expertise should include producing and reviewing analytical materials, transaction presentations, and financial models to a high professional standard.
- Investment banking, M&A, and financial modeling subject matter expertise
- Experience as a former Senior Associate, preferably third-year, or Vice President
- Background with a leading investment bank, established M&A boutique, or sector-focused advisory firm preferred
- Hands-on experience with live acquisition or sale processes preferred
- Mastery of Excel modeling, including troubleshooting and scenario analysis
- Experience with company and industry research, target screening, comparable company analysis, and pitchbook preparation
- Ability to review analytical and presentation materials for accuracy and quality
- Ability to identify and clearly explain quantitative inaccuracies and strategic weaknesses
- Strong analytical review and problem-solving skills
