Investment Banking AI Training Expert

You will support AI training by applying practical investment banking experience to financial research, transaction analysis, valuation modeling, and expert review. The work covers company and industry research, target screening, comparable company analysis, Excel models, and pitchbook-style materials.

You will check both the numbers and the reasoning behind financial materials. You will also explain complex financial concepts and model assumptions clearly in written and verbal feedback.

• Research companies and industries for financial analysis and AI training projects.
• Perform and review buyer or target screening, comparable company analysis, valuation work, and transaction modeling.
• Build, update, and troubleshoot detailed Excel models, including scenario analysis.
• Prepare and edit presentation and pitchbook-style materials for transaction scenarios and strategic rationale.
• Identify numerical errors, weak strategy, unclear logic, accounting treatments, valuation adjustments, and deal sensitivities.
• Explain how key assumptions affect analytical outcomes and provide actionable feedback.

What it pays and takes

This is a remote, part-time contractor engagement for an experienced investment banking professional. Candidates should be able to produce and review analytical and presentation materials against senior banker or client standards.

• Pay: $175 to $300 per hour.
• Work arrangement: Remote contractor engagement with part-time work.

• Experience: Substantial experience with live acquisition or sale processes and high-quality client-facing deliverables.

• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to different audiences.

• Helpful background: Senior Associate or Vice President experience from an M&A or industry-coverage team at an investment bank, M&A boutique, or sector-focused advisory firm.
