Information Security Analyst Expert

As an Information Security Analyst Expert, you will create and evaluate professional security scenarios used to assess AI judgment. The duties and qualifications focus on security operations AI evaluation, so review them before applying.

• Write realistic scenarios that cover alert triage, incident response, and remediation.
• Create reference answers that explain the investigative reasoning behind decisions.
• Rate AI-generated guidance for technical accuracy, sound operations, and appropriate security judgment.
• Flag plausible-sounding advice that could weaken an organization's security.

Pay, schedule, location, and requirements

• Pay: $90 to $135 per hour, paid weekly via Stripe.
• Schedule: At least 10 hours per week. Work is asynchronous, has no fixed hours, and allows you to scale your workload up or down.
• Work arrangement: Fully remote contractor work on an ongoing project.

• At least two years of professional experience in security operations, incident response, or vulnerability management.
• Hands-on experience with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
• Depth in at least one area: detection engineering, threat hunting, or governance, risk, and compliance.
• Strong written English and the ability to clearly document investigative and remediation reasoning.
• Helpful, but not required: Security+, CySA+, CISSP, or GIAC certification; SOC leadership; incident command; or automation work using Python or PowerShell.
