English Teacher Expert (English) for AI Evaluation

Create realistic reading and writing instruction scenarios for learners at different levels. Write feedback on student writing and explain the teaching reasoning behind it.

• Evaluate AI-generated content for accurate literary analysis and sound instruction.
• Identify feedback that sounds encouraging but does not help improve the writing.
• Judge whether educational responses are accurate, useful, and instructionally sound.

What it takes

• Work remotely as an independent contractor, on an asynchronous schedule.
• Commit to at least 10 hours per week; there is no maximum, and you can adjust your hours from week to week.
• The role is open to candidates in supported countries.
• Have a teaching license or certification with an English or language arts endorsement.
• Have at least two years of classroom experience teaching English.
• Bring strong knowledge of writing instruction, literature, and composition feedback, and explain teaching decisions clearly in writing.
• Helpful experience includes teaching AP, IB, or similar advanced courses; advising journalism, yearbook, or creative writing programs; or teaching English learners.
