The Role
OpenTrain is seeking a Household Task Video Contributor to record everyday chores and specified physical activities from a first-person perspective. You will use a compatible smartphone and wearable phone mount to capture synchronized footage that follows project guidelines.
This entry-level, part-time contractor role is open to people located in eligible U.S. states who are authorized to work in the United States. The expected time commitment is 20 or more hours per week.

What You'll Do
You will create consistent, guideline-aligned recordings of household activities using a smartphone mounted to a head strap. Careful camera positioning and synchronized footage are central to producing useful training data.
Record everyday household chores from a first-person point of view
Complete specified physical tasks and repetitive household movements safely
Capture synchronized video with a compatible smartphone
Wear and use a smartphone-mounted head strap during recording
Maintain consistent camera positioning and recording quality
Submit completed recordings according to project guidelines
Requirements
You should be comfortable recording yourself while completing household activities and following detailed submission instructions. Physical ability to perform repetitive movements safely is required.
Own an iPhone 12 or later, Google Pixel 6 through 9, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or later
Be physically capable of completing repetitive household movements safely
Feel comfortable using a smartphone-mounted head strap
Be able to record synchronized first-person video
Pay close attention to camera position, recording quality, synchronization, and guidelines
Live in an eligible U.S. state and be eligible to work in the United States
Compensation
This role pays $13–$15 per hour of recorded video submitted in line with project guidelines. A $20 signing bonus and reimbursement for the head strap purchase are available after 20 hours of completed work.
