The At-Home Video Recorder Role

OpenTrain is recruiting an At-Home Video Recorder for household task video collection. You will use a smartphone and head strap setup to record first-person footage of household and physical tasks, including synchronized footage used to help validate collected sensor data.

Prior AI training experience is not required. Success in this role depends on following detailed recording instructions, completing repetitive movement tasks safely, and delivering clean, consistent recordings that meet project standards.

What You Will Do

• Capture first-person smartphone video of household and physical tasks

Requirements and Equipment

You should be comfortable working independently on remote contractor tasks and able to follow detailed technical protocols. You must have access to the equipment needed for high-fidelity first-person video capture.

• Access to a compatible iPhone, Pixel, or Samsung Galaxy S device
• Access to a head strap setup for first-person recording
• Comfort recording first-person video on a smartphone
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and quality requirements
