The Role
OpenTrain is seeking experienced Healthcare Experts to contribute to projects focused on training and evaluating AI systems. You will use hands-on knowledge of healthcare applications, clinical documentation, medical billing and coding, and clinical workflows to review AI-generated outputs and provide detailed evaluations.
This intermediate-level contractor role is particularly suited to professionals with at least two years of experience in healthcare administration, clinical documentation, medical billing or coding, or a related healthcare position.

What You'll Do
You will complete structured evaluation and question-answering tasks involving healthcare applications and systems. Your feedback will help determine whether AI-generated information reflects real-world healthcare processes and workflows.
Tasks follow detailed project guidelines and require consistent accuracy, objectivity, and attention to detail.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy, realism, and workflow consistency
- Complete structured tasks involving Epic, MyChart, Meditech, Athenahealth, CoverMyMeds, and 3M CodeFinder
- Review and annotate content according to project guidelines
- Identify inaccuracies, inconsistencies, and potential workflow issues
- Provide clear, detailed feedback and evaluations
- Apply knowledge of patient records, billing cycles, medical coding, prior authorizations, and related processes
- Collaborate remotely with the project team
- Meet quality, accuracy, and delivery requirements consistently
Required Expertise and Qualifications
Your healthcare experience is the primary qualification for this work. No previous AI experience is required, but you should be comfortable assessing information accurately and objectively and explaining issues in clear written English.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in healthcare administration, clinical documentation, medical billing or coding, or a related healthcare role
- Direct experience with one or more of Epic, Meditech, Athenahealth, MyChart, CoverMyMeds, or 3M CodeFinder
- Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare administration
- Knowledge of EHR systems, clinical documentation, medical billing, and medical coding
- Ability to evaluate information accurately and objectively
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, with fluent English
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
- Reliable internet connection
