About this role OpenTrain is recruiting for an exciting opportunity to contribute your UX/UI design expertise to train next-generation AI systems. In this role, you will apply your professional design knowledge to create high-quality, real-world input that directly shapes how AI models learn, reason, and perform. No prior AI experience is required, your domain expertise is what matters most.
What you will do - Apply your UX/UI expertise to provide design input that trains AI systems, ensuring models learn from high-quality, real-world examples. - Clearly articulate your design decisions and rationales, as this communication directly influences the AI training process. - Complete tasks to project specifications, maintaining quality and consistency in your work.
Required skills - Proven expertise in UX/UI design and proficiency with Figma. - Strong portfolio demonstrating impactful digital product design projects. - Experience communicating complex design concepts clearly in both written and verbal formats. - Familiarity with industry best practices in usability, accessibility, and responsive design. - Ability to analyze and critique designs with a critical, constructive mindset. - Capacity to work autonomously and efficiently in a remote, asynchronous setting.
Helpful background - Previous engagement in AI-related projects or familiarity with data annotation processes is a plus, but not required.
