About AI Training Work

AI training (also called data labeling or human feedback work) is the human side of building intelligent systems: people review, rate, write, and correct examples that models learn from. Contributors work remotely, often part-time, and directly shape how state-of-the-art AI behaves.

This role centers on UX/UI design expertise applied to text-based model outputs — you’ll teach models to reason like experienced designers by providing judgment, edits, and clear written feedback.

The Role

As a UX/UI Design Reviewer you will apply professional design judgment to evaluate model outputs, prototypes, and design suggestions. You’ll produce concise, actionable feedback that helps models learn user-centered thinking and industry-standard design practices.

• Review web and mobile design examples, layouts, and prototypes with a user-centered lens.
• Assess prototyping, layout, accessibility, and design system quality using advanced Figma skills.
• Interpret analytics-driven considerations (for example Adobe Analytics data) when provided and incorporate them into recommendations.
• Write clear, constructive feedback and edited responses to improve model behavior and outputs.

What You’ll Do Day-to-Day

Work independently on remote contractor tasks, reviewing prompt/response pairs and producing annotated feedback or revised responses. The tasks are text-focused and train generative models to produce higher-quality UX/UI guidance.

• Evaluate and edit model-written UX/UI guidance (prompt-response writing / SFT tasks).
• Open and inspect Figma files or descriptions and judge prototype fidelity, layout decisions, and system usage.
• Provide rationale and examples in written feedback that models can learn from.
• Apply analytics insight when included to recommend data-informed design changes.

Requirements

This is an expert-level role: real-world UX/UI design experience and a strong portfolio are required. Prior AI training experience is not required, but you must be comfortable producing precise written critiques that teach model behavior.

• Expert-level UX/UI design methodology and user-centered design judgment.
• Advanced Figma skills, including prototyping and design system management.
• Ability to use analytics (e.g., Adobe Analytics) to inform design decisions.
• Fluency in English and strong written communication with careful attention to detail.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating web and mobile design work.

Compensation, Time, and Logistics

This contract, part-time role expects 20+ hours per week and is open worldwide. Tasks are remote and completed independently on hours you choose, within project timelines.

Work involves text-based labeling for prompt-response writing and supervised fine-tuning tasks; you will use Figma regularly and may reference analytics data when provided.

• Pay: USD $25–$50 per hour (rate information provided in job details; top-listed hourly value: $50/hr).
