The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting Firebase Task Recording Specialists to create realistic computer-based tasks that demonstrate practical app infrastructure workflows. You will design Firebase tasks, prepare safe and reproducible test environments, document task context, and record yourself completing each workflow for AI training data.

This is a remote contractor role open to candidates in Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. The expected schedule is 20+ hours per week, and the advertised rate is up to $25 per hour.

What You'll Do

You will create complete, realistic demonstrations of Firebase infrastructure and application workflows. Each task should be safe to run, reproducible by another contributor, and supported by clear documentation and verification evidence.

• Create practical tasks involving Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, Hosting, Cloud Functions basics, security rules, configuration, deployments, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare test projects, sample data, local files, permissions, and required tools before recording.
• Record clear, complete, realistic, and safe task demonstrations on your computer.
• Document task goals, context, steps, project details, files, and verification evidence.
• Review recordings and documentation for completeness, quality, reproducibility, and alignment with project guidelines.
• Select and explain Firebase architecture and data-service trade-offs for practical application workflows.
• Diagnose permissions, indexing, configuration, deployment, and connectivity issues using a structured troubleshooting approach.

Requirements

This role is designed for contributors with hands-on Firebase experience and the ability to explain technical workflows clearly. You should be comfortable preparing environments, using developer tools, and independently producing accurate recordings and documentation.

• Hands-on experience with Firebase projects, app setup, Authentication, Firestore, Realtime Database, Storage, Hosting, security rules, configuration, deployment, or troubleshooting.
• Strong understanding of Firebase projects, apps, SDK configuration, console workflows, and common application infrastructure patterns.
• Ability to design realistic and challenging tasks for web, mobile, backend, cloud, administrative, or app-development use cases.
• Comfort with browser-based consoles, developer tools, terminals, project files, and screen-recording software.
• Ability to prepare safe test environments and create reproducible Firebase tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and reliable independent work.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher.
