The Role

OpenTrain is hiring a PyCharm Workflow Recording Specialist to create realistic, challenging PyCharm-based tasks for AI training. You will design practical Python development and debugging scenarios, prepare the required environment, record yourself completing each workflow, and document the task clearly for reviewers.

The work should reflect authentic coding, scripting, automation, testing, project setup, and debugging use cases. You will need to make each workflow clear, complete, realistic, and aligned with project guidelines.

What You'll Do

You will create and record PyCharm workflows on your own computer. Before recording, you will ensure that projects, interpreters, dependencies, references, and other required resources are ready. Afterward, you will review the recording and documentation to confirm that the submission is complete and high quality.

• Create realistic PyCharm tasks based on Python development, debugging, project setup, and workflow use cases.
• Install and configure PyCharm, projects, interpreters, dependencies, and related references before recording.
• Record yourself executing each task in a clear, complete, and realistic workflow.
• Document the task context, goals, steps, project files, dependencies, and reviewer notes.
• Demonstrate coding, debugging, run configurations, virtual environments, terminal commands, Git integration, package installation, and test execution.
• Review recordings and documentation before submission for quality and alignment with project guidelines.

Required Skills

You should have hands-on experience using PyCharm for Python development, debugging, project setup, package management, refactoring, terminal workflows, or Git integration. Strong attention to detail and consistent execution are important in this remote contractor workflow.

• Hands-on PyCharm experience with Python development, debugging, project setup, and Git integration
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher
• Comfort managing files, opening projects, configuring interpreters, installing packages, and recording workflows
