OpenTrain AI is hiring contractors for practical AI training and data-labeling work. OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training, helping contributors discover projects, build a professional profile, and apply in minutes.
AI training is the human side of building modern artificial intelligence. People prepare examples, complete realistic workflows, and review technical outputs so AI systems can better understand how software is created and used.
This role focuses on software development workflows inside Eclipse IDE. Your task designs, environment preparation, documentation, and recordings will contribute practical examples to AI training projects.
As an Eclipse IDE Task Creation and Recording Specialist, you will design realistic and challenging tasks based on Eclipse and Java development workflows. You will prepare reliable workspaces, document the technical context, and record yourself completing practical tasks according to project guidelines.
Tasks may involve Java projects, JDK configuration, imports, dependencies, debugging, testing, Git integration, Maven or Gradle, and build or runtime troubleshooting. Strong practical knowledge of Eclipse and software development is the most important qualification.
You will demonstrate practical software use through carefully prepared technical workflows. Depending on the task, this may include configuring a project, navigating code, resolving imports, debugging issues, running tests, configuring builds, or using Git within Eclipse.
You will also check your work against project requirements and ensure that recordings and supporting notes are clear, accurate, complete, and easy to follow.
This opportunity is listed at the entry level, but it requires hands-on practical experience with Eclipse IDE and Java software development workflows. Experience may come from professional, academic, or independent development work.
You should be comfortable configuring a development environment, following quality guidelines consistently, explaining technical work in English, and working independently as a remote contractor.
This is hourly, remote contractor work involving task creation, environment preparation, technical documentation, and screen recording. The expected time commitment is 20 or more hours per week.
AI training and data-labeling work gives software professionals a way to apply their technical knowledge to the development of modern AI systems. OpenTrain helps you find relevant projects, showcase your experience, and build a portfolio around the work you complete.
Create your OpenTrain profile and apply for this Eclipse IDE opportunity to put your Java and development workflow expertise to work in AI training.
