The Fire Dispatcher Role

What You'll Do

• Prioritize information from multiple communication channels for timely and accurate routing

• Document scenario responses and communication flows in a clear, structured format
• Evaluate, critique, and suggest improvements to AI-generated communications for clarity and accuracy
• Collaborate with project coordinators to meet quality standards and operational objectives

Requirements

Prior AI training experience is not required. Your most important qualification is strong, practical knowledge of fire dispatch and emergency communications.

• Significant experience as a fire dispatcher, emergency communications specialist, or equivalent
• Proficiency in standardized emergency protocols; APCO or NENA certification is preferred
• Exceptional multitasking abilities across radio, phone, and digital platforms
• Clear, concise, and professional written and verbal communication
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make rapid, accurate prioritization decisions
• Reliable internet access and the ability to complete remote contractor work

Schedule, Pay, and Availability
