The Role

As a Finnish Language AI Training Analyst, you will analyze Finnish-language content to create training scenarios that help large language models reason more effectively. Your work includes breaking long-form text into logical blocks, verifying factual claims with online research, solving analytical puzzles, and writing clear, actionable annotations.

• Contractor assignment, freelance/part-time.
• Duration: 1 month; availability up to 40 hours per week.
• Work remotely from anywhere; must overlap US Pacific (UTC-8) hours 2–5 hours per day.

What You'll Do

Daily tasks blend close reading, research, and creative scenario design to train model reasoning. You will provide structured, detailed feedback and ratings that guide model improvement.

• Read, summarize, and deconstruct Finnish content into smaller logical segments.
• Conduct online research to verify claims and facts in the content.
• Solve analytical puzzles and create scenarios that teach LLMs to reason and analyze.
• Provide detailed annotations, evaluations, and constructive feedback.
• Work on evaluation and text-generation style tasks (rating and creating content).

Requirements

We need reliable, independent contributors who can deliver precise analytic work in Finnish and English and meet the assignment's scheduling needs.

• Native or fluent Finnish speaker with strong English comprehension.
• Strong research and analytical skills; ability to verify facts online.
• Creative, lateral thinker who enjoys solving logic and data-interpretation puzzles.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to write clear, constructive annotations.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Commitment to up to 40 hours per week; role requires daily overlap of 2–5 hours with US Pacific time.
• Reliable desktop or laptop and internet connection.

Helpful Background

You do not need a specific degree, but relevant education or professional writing and analysis experience will help you succeed.

• Bachelor's degree or undergraduate studies in Engineering, Literature, Journalism, Communications, Arts, Statistics, or related fields — OR equivalent experience.
• Professional writing or analysis experience (business/research analyst, journalist, editor, translator, technical writer, etc.).
• Familiarity with Excel and Google Suite and comfort with basic arithmetic and data interpretation.

Screening & Contract Details

Candidates will complete short tests to demonstrate analytical reasoning, the ability to break down long-form Finnish content, and English comprehension for clear feedback. This is a short-term contractor assignment managed by OpenTrain AI.
