The Role

OpenTrain is seeking a Finance Task Reviewer to evaluate pre-created finance questions and answers for AI training data generation. You will determine whether each task meets rigorous domain-specific standards and provide quality assessments based on your understanding of finance concepts, financial statements, ratios, and models.

This is a short-term project with potential for extension. Reviewers work remotely worldwide in English and should be available for at least 20 hours per week, with up to 40 hours available and a required four-hour overlap with Pacific Time.

What You’ll Do

You will review existing finance-related tasks and assess whether their questions and answers are suitable for training data generation. The work requires careful attention to accuracy, relevance, clarity, structure, and logical quality.

• Evaluate finance task questions and answers for accuracy and relevance
• Assess clarity, logical soundness, and overall structure
• Determine whether tasks align with domain-specific standards
• Apply knowledge of general finance concepts and practical business applications
• Interpret financial statements, calculations, ratios, and financial models
• Provide consistent written quality assessments

Requirements

This opportunity is intended for professionals with substantial finance experience and strong written and analytical skills. You should be able to evaluate finance content critically and explain judgments clearly.

• At least five years of professional experience in finance or a related domain
• Strong knowledge of general finance concepts and practical business applications
• Ability to interpret financial statements, calculations, ratios, and models
• Excellent analytical and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent written communication skills
• Ability to assess the accuracy, relevance, clarity, and quality of questions and answers

Preferred Background

The following qualifications and experience are helpful but are not mandatory. Prior experience with AI training data generation or task review is preferred.

• CA, CFA, CMA, CPA, MBA Finance, M.Com, or an equivalent qualification
• Experience in financial analysis, consulting, audit, investment banking, corporate finance, or research
• Previous experience in training data generation or task review
