The Role
OpenTrain AI is engaging an Equity Research Expert to contribute to a project focused on advanced financial analysis, modeling, and sector insights for AI training. You will review and develop high-quality research-related content, assess datasets, and provide detailed feedback grounded in real-world equity research practice.
The role is designed for an expert with substantial experience in equity research, financial modeling, earnings analysis, peer benchmarking, sector analysis, investment thesis development, valuation, and professional written and verbal communication.

What You'll Do
You will help ensure that financial research examples used for AI training are accurate, relevant, well-reasoned, and clearly communicated. Your work will combine quantitative analysis with qualitative judgment and sector-specific insight.
You will also collaborate with project stakeholders by identifying data-quality issues and suggesting improvements to research-related content.

Requirements and Preferred Qualifications
This opportunity is intended for an experienced equity research professional who can independently assess company performance, maintain or evaluate comprehensive models, and defend well-supported research views. Experience with text labeling workflows, text generation, and evaluation rating tasks is also required.
Relevant backgrounds include sell-side Research Associate roles with direct ownership of company models and written research, or publishing and lead Research Analyst positions such as VP or Director. Deep specialist expertise in at least one sector, such as banks, insurance, or biotech, is preferred.
