The Role

OpenTrain AI is recruiting a Single-Name Equity Research AI Evaluation Expert to support AI training focused on Single-Name Equity Research Analysis. You will use professional standards from sell-side equity research to assess model-generated financial analyses and provide clear, evidence-based feedback.

The role requires direct experience publishing post-catalyst sell-side equity research in the relevant sector, along with the ability to evaluate analysis at a specific point in time without hindsight, data leakage, confidential information, or material non-public information.

• Pay: $150 to $250 per hour

What You'll Do

You will review source materials, sell-side research notes, and model outputs against project guidelines. Your work will help determine whether generated financial analysis meets the professional standard expected of equity research specialists.

You will also document the evidence behind your judgments and maintain consistency across repeated evaluation tasks.

• Evaluate model outputs using project rubrics
• Review filings, earnings materials, transcripts, estimates, valuation, and ratings
• Assess the timing and content of a named analyst's research note
• Evaluate model-generated financial analyses against a professional standard
• Explain judgments clearly so feedback can improve model behavior
• Apply point-in-time reasoning without hindsight or data leakage
• Maintain consistent quality across repeated review tasks

Requirements

This is listed as an entry-level AI training role, and previous AI training experience is not required. However, candidates must bring strong real-world or academic expertise in Single-Name Equity Research Analysis and meet the specialized research requirements below.
