About OpenTrain

OpenTrain AI is hiring contractors to help build better artificial intelligence. OpenTrain is the #1 platform for finding and building careers in AI training and data labeling, where contributors can discover projects, build a professional profile, and grow experience in a rapidly expanding field.

AI training is the human side of developing modern AI systems. Professionals contribute by evaluating model outputs, creating examples, testing workflows, and providing expert feedback that helps AI become more capable, reliable, and useful.

About the Role

As an Enterprise AI Workflow Expert, you will improve AI systems through realistic enterprise workflow evaluation and domain-informed feedback. You will design and operate agentic workflows that reflect professional processes, assess how AI agents reason and use connected tools, and turn your findings into practical guidance for model improvement and adoption.

This role is designed for people who build workflows in real business systems, rather than simply using AI as an end user. Your professional experience will help test whether AI workflows are reliable enough for practical business use.

  • Contractor position
  • Part-time engagement of 20+ hours per week
  • Worldwide opportunity
  • English-language work
  • Pay range: $80–$150 USD per hour

What You'll Do

You will design, execute, and iterate multi-tool agentic workflows that simulate critical professional processes. You will evaluate outputs for reasoning gaps, workflow limitations, tool-use challenges, and practical business impact.

You will document outcomes and communicate nuanced domain findings and process-improvement strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Your work will help create reusable guidance for AI agent adoption and enablement.

  • Build and operate realistic workflows across multiple connected business tools.
  • Evaluate AI-agent reasoning, outputs, tool use, and workflow reliability.
  • Identify performance gaps, limitations, and failures that affect business outcomes.
  • Create detailed feedback, examples, and test cases for model improvement.
  • Develop operational playbooks and contribute to best-practice libraries.
  • Translate professional processes into actionable guidance for AI adoption.

Required Experience and Skills

You should have extensive professional experience in sales, growth product management, project management, finance, or a similar business domain. The structured experience level for this opportunity is entry level, but hands-on workflow-building capability and relevant professional knowledge are required.

No prior AI experience is required when your domain knowledge and workflow-building capability are strong. However, practical experience designing and operating multi-tool AI-agent workflows is required for the role.

  • Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and operating multi-tool AI-agent workflows across connected business systems.
  • Ability to identify reasoning gaps, workflow limitations, and tool-use failures in AI-agent outputs.
  • Ability to turn findings into constructive model feedback and practical improvement recommendations.
  • Ability to translate professional domain processes into realistic examples, test cases, operational playbooks, and actionable guidance.
  • Strong analytical judgment grounded in real operational needs.

Helpful Background

Experience using AI agents regularly in professional workflows is valuable, particularly if you have helped advance AI adoption or enablement among colleagues and stakeholders. Experience building automations across several connected applications, developing repeatable operating procedures, or assessing business workflow reliability can also be relevant.

  • Experience with Gmail, Drive, Slack, Jira, APIs, or MCP connectors.
  • Experience with Zapier, Make, n8n, or similar workflow platforms.
  • Background building automations across multiple connected applications.
  • Experience creating repeatable operating procedures.
  • Experience evaluating AI workflows for professional or business use.

Why This Work Matters

Every major AI system depends on people who prepare examples, review outputs, and provide informed feedback. In this role, your understanding of real enterprise processes will directly shape how AI agents reason, use tools, and support professional work.

AI training and data-labeling work is remote and often flexible, making it possible to contribute from anywhere while building experience in a fast-growing technology field. OpenTrain helps you develop a lasting AI-training portfolio and discover opportunities that match your skills.

How to Get Started

Create a free OpenTrain account and build a profile that highlights your workflow-building experience, professional domain knowledge, and examples of connected-system automations. A focused profile can help demonstrate your ability to evaluate AI agents and contribute practical, high-quality feedback.

  • Highlight professional experience in sales, growth product management, project management, finance, or a related domain.
  • Describe multi-tool AI workflows and business automations you have designed or operated.
  • Show how you evaluate reliability, identify workflow issues, and recommend improvements.
