The Role

OpenTrain is recruiting an English (US) AI Voice Actor to create expressive voice performances for AI training projects involving characters, stories, and varied domains. You will use vocal control, emotional range, and precise pacing to produce audio that reflects the intended personality and tone.

This is a part-time contractor opportunity requiring 20+ hours per week. Work may be completed from a professional home studio or in-studio setting, and English (US) voice performance ability is central to the role.

What You'll Do

You will perform scripted lines, interpret creative direction, and deliver polished audio files that meet project requirements. You will also revise performances based on feedback and maintain quality across different voice and story requirements.

• Record voice-over performances from a professional home studio or in-studio setting
• Perform scripted lines with clarity, emotion, appropriate pacing, and vocal versatility
• Interpret scripts and respond effectively to creative direction
• Revise performances based on feedback and deliver final audio files in the required format
• Meet delivery deadlines across varied voice and story requirements
• Communicate professionally and deliver reliable audio files

Requirements and Helpful Background

Previous voice acting experience is required, including experience performing across varied characters, stories, or domains. Although the opportunity is listed at an entry level, strong vocal performance skills and dependable delivery are essential.

Experience with dubbing, ADR, or localization can support success. A demo reel with varied voice styles, acting or performing arts experience, and familiarity with audio editing tools are also useful where applicable.
