The Role

OpenTrain is seeking an English Audio Recording Expert to create high-quality English voice recordings for AI training. You will deliver natural, clear samples that meet defined technical and creative standards, while managing recording quality, file organization, and project communication.

This is an entry-level AI training opportunity for a contributor with practical experience in voice recording, voice-over, audio engineering, or related production work. The role is part-time and requires a commitment of 20 or more hours per week.

What You'll Do

You will record and prepare English audio that is natural, expressive, and technically consistent. You will also review your work, make corrections where needed, and maintain accurate documentation so recordings can be used reliably for AI training.

• Record voice samples with clear, natural delivery.
• Maintain accurate pitch, tone, clarity, and expressive control.
• Adapt delivery style to different project contexts and language nuances.
• Identify recording defects and complete appropriate post-recording cleanup.
• Use professional recording equipment and audio editing software.
• Organize, label, and document multiple audio files accurately.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve script delivery and audio quality.
• Communicate clearly about project requirements and completed work.
• Manage multiple recordings independently.

Requirements

Relevant experience in voice recording, voice-over, audio engineering, or related production work is preferred. You should have a strong ear for pitch, tone, and recording quality, along with the judgment to recognize defects and apply suitable cleanup.

Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail, organization, and independent working ability are required. An interest in linguistic diversity and language learning is valuable, and multilingual experience is welcome.
