Project Engineer (Energy Project Estimation)

You will help improve AI systems by creating expert training data and reviewing AI-generated content about energy project development and cost estimation. Your feedback will assess whether responses are accurate, relevant, and consistent with real project work.

• Create training data based on energy project development and cost estimation workflows.
• Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, relevance, and practical alignment.
• Use knowledge of energy estimation, pre-construction, construction planning, and solar design.
• Write clear feedback that helps improve AI-generated content.
• Work independently with AI research teams and maintain careful attention to detail.

What it pays and takes

This is a part-time contractor opportunity for professionals who can apply practical energy-industry knowledge to AI review and data creation tasks.

• Pay: up to $85 per hour.
• Schedule: 20 or more hours per week, with flexible asynchronous work.
• Location: remote and open to candidates in the United States.
• Language: fluent English written communication.
• Experience: at least two years in energy project estimation, pre-construction, solar design, or a comparable energy-industry role.
• Relevant roles include estimator, project engineer, pre-construction manager, or solar design engineer.
• Hands-on experience with at least one of Bluebeam Revu, RSMeans, or Aurora Solar.
• Strong written communication, evaluation, and independent-work skills.
• Experience with construction planning, project development workflows, or cost estimation is helpful.
• Prior AI experience is not required.
