About AI Training Work

AI training is the human side of building artificial intelligence. Experts review model outputs, solve technical problems, and explain their reasoning so AI systems can produce more accurate and useful responses.

This work is remote and project-based, with flexible opportunities that can fit around other professional commitments. Your engineering judgment helps shape how advanced AI performs in specialized technical domains.

The Electrical Circuit Design Reviewer Role

OpenTrain AI is seeking Electrical and Circuit Design Experts to evaluate advanced circuit design problems and review AI-generated technical responses. You will apply rigorous electrical engineering judgment to theoretical questions and real-world design scenarios, then communicate your reasoning clearly.

The work spans analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF circuits. You will use established analysis methods to assess circuit behavior and provide feedback that improves AI reasoning and technical performance.

  • Expert-level contractor opportunity
  • Remote, project-based work
  • 20 or more hours per week
  • Professional English communication required
  • Hourly pay listed from $60 to $130, with a typical advertised range of $80 to $130

What You'll Do

You will review technical content with precision, identify errors or weaknesses, and document explanations that help AI systems learn from high-quality expert input.

  • Evaluate and solve circuit design and electrical engineering problems across analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF domains
  • Review AI-generated technical responses for correctness, accuracy, and engineering quality
  • Apply practical engineering judgment to design scenarios and theoretical questions
  • Troubleshoot circuit behavior using Kirchhoff's laws, node-voltage analysis, small-signal analysis, and phasor analysis
  • Document feedback that helps refine AI reasoning and performance
  • Collaborate remotely with a distributed team of experts

Required Qualifications

This role is designed for experienced electrical engineering specialists who can combine strong circuit analysis skills with clear technical communication. You should be comfortable evaluating complex answers and explaining why a solution is correct, incomplete, or incorrect.

  • Strong background in electrical engineering and circuit design
  • Strong circuit analysis skills across analog, digital, mixed-signal, power, and RF domains
  • Ability to reason through complex technical problems with precision
  • Ability to review AI-generated technical answers for correctness and engineering quality
  • Clear written and verbal communication in professional English
  • Familiarity with Kirchhoff's laws, node-voltage analysis, small-signal analysis, and phasor analysis
  • Availability to work 20 or more hours per week

Preferred Experience

The following background can strengthen your application, particularly for projects involving advanced hardware, semiconductor, or high-speed systems.

  • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, or a BS in Electrical Engineering with substantial industry experience
  • Experience with production hardware or silicon tape-out
  • Experience with IC or ASIC design, EDA tools, PCB design, or high-speed digital and RF validation
  • Hands-on work with semiconductor devices, power electronics, RF and microwave systems, or control systems
  • Knowledge of semiconductor reliability, EMC, and modern CMOS scaling
